What's New

There are thought to be three Dickey branches in the US, sourcing from three Dickey brothers that immigrated to the US in the 1700s. My ancestry is through William Dickey, who settled in Londonderry, New Hampshire and whose descendants moved north to Maine.

For a while now I have wanted to create a "Book of Remembrance" for my ancestors. I have a significant amount of research, anecdotes, memories, etc of my ancestors and want to share it all. I hope anyone that finds this site finds it to be useful and possibly knows something about the individuals found herein that I don't already know. Please look around and drop me a note with any questions, comments, additions, corrections, etc. I strive to have as complete information as possible.

01 Mar 2011 Got a Google maps API key so places within my site will have a google map...cool

03 Feb 2011 Added a report called "If you want to help." The report has specific items of information we need. Any of you with logins can access the report and enter any information you find.

29 Jan 2011 Imported ~1,000 pictures of our Young ancestors. I will be working on linking them over the next several weeks.

29 Jan 2011 Added Biographies and memories from Norma and Lester. They are viewable under the Histories tab.

28 Jan 2011 - Upgraded to TNG 8.1.1 and changed template to template 8.

Jan 2011 - Imported and linked ~300 pictures from Norman Dickey's picture book
